We’re excited to share one of our latest residential projects currently moving into the construction phase — a major alteration and addition to an existing family home in the heart of Russell Lea, Sydney.

This project has been thoughtfully designed to elevate the home’s functionality and comfort while preserving its character and charm. Our clients sought a design that offered everyday practicality for a growing family, without compromising on timeless luxury. The result is a seamless integration of new spaces into the existing fabric of the house, with a strong focus on proportion, natural light, and quality finishes throughout.

From the architectural planning to the detailed interior design, every element has been tailored to support modern living — flexible spaces that can adapt to the family’s evolving needs, generous entertaining zones, and refined, tactile materials that speak to a sense of quiet sophistication.

The new design includes a reimagined open plan kitchen, dining, and living area — the heart of the home — featuring a generous walk-in pantry and a fully appointed bar for effortless entertaining. The main family bathroom and ensuite have been completely remodelled with a focus on luxurious detailing and long-term practicality.

Custom-designed joinery runs throughout the home, providing ample concealed storage while incorporating elements such as a hidden TV, art display niches, a modern gas fireplace, a limestone feature wall, and a discreet pivot door that blends seamlessly into the architecture. The laundry has also been reconfigured to improve flow, function, and day-to-day convenience.

Design and project management are led by Alex, ensuring continuity across all phases of the project — from concept to completion. With consent now secured from the local authority, we look forward to construction commencing shortly and bringing this elegant transformation to life.
